RUSSIA'S MUSLIM REAWAKENING
Russia's Muslim Reawakening is a 40-page journalistic comic created as
a part of a residency hosted by the Swedish Embassy in Moscow.
Half of the comic was later published on The Nib, an online comics website focused
on political satire, journalism and non-fiction. The reportage consists of a series of
interviews with Muslims and non-Muslims living in Tatarstan, one of the republics
in Russia where Muslims are the majority.
